What happens to what you send

Updated October 15, 2026

This is a small site run by one person. Here’s the whole picture.

The contact form and the notice board

When you send a note, your name, email, organization (if you gave one) and message come to my inbox. The note also says which places on the map you opened, so I know what you were reading.

  • I use it to reply to you, and for nothing else.
  • I don’t add you to a mailing list. There isn’t one.
  • I don’t sell it, and I don’t share it beyond the services that deliver it. It reaches my inbox through Resend, an email delivery service, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it.
  • If you’d like me to delete our conversation, email me and I will.

Booking a call

The calendar is run by Google Calendar. When you book, it gets the details you type in and sends us both an invite. Google’s privacy policy applies to what it handles.

Visiting the site

I count visits and which places on the map get opened, so I know what’s useful. I use Umami for this. It uses no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites, and never sees what you type into the form.

The booking calendar loads only if you tap it.

Ideas you add to the map

If you pin a note on the notice board, it shows on the map only in your browser, for this visit. Nothing about it is kept beyond the email it sends me. Ideas that stay on the map for everyone aren’t switched on yet. When they are, this section will say exactly what happens to them first.
